Jerry.ai is seeking an HR Operations Generalist to own multi-state compliance, payroll and benefits queries, and policy drafting in a hands-on role. You will directly handle payroll, benefits, and compliance tasks in-house, and help redesign HR processes around AI-enhanced workflows. The position offers growth into broader HR operations ownership over time.

We value practical, in-house experience and a proactive, judgment-driven approach within a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team handling payroll, benefits and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Multi-state compliance: track law changes and update policies across classifications and pay ranges.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experienced handling.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset and approach.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time.
