Jerry.ai is seeking a hands-on HR Operations lead who will own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and complex payroll/benefits questions. You will influence how AI fits into HR ops, reducing busywork and enabling focus on high-impact decisions.

You’ll manage the annual compliance audit, handbook refresh, and mentorship of the HR Admin team, while growing into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team handling payroll, benefits, and compliance.

Mansioni

• Own multi-state compliance tracking, policy updates, and implementation across all employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh from start to finish in the first 90 days.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experienced judgment.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset to reduce busywork.
