Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a hands-on HR Operations Lead to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits inquiries. You will work in a fast-paced, edge-case environment and directly impact how AI is integrated into HR operations.

You should be comfortable drafting policies, handling escalations, and guiding Payroll/HR Administration, with a path to broader HR operations ownership over time. Remote-friendly, US-wide opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Hands-on in-house HR generalist with payroll/benefits exposure preferred.
• Proven multi-state compliance experience and policy drafting capability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team and handle complex escalations.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates for all employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions.
• Review and unblock work for Payroll and HR Administration teammates.
• Rearchitect HR operations with an AI-native mindset and practical implementation.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time.
