Jerry.ai is seeking a hands-on HR Operations Lead to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits inquiries. You will shape HR processes with an AI-native approach and mentor the Payroll/HR Administration team.

Qualified candidates have in-house, multi-state experience and a track record drafting policies and managing payroll and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance yourself.

Responsabilités

• Multi-state compliance: tracking state-by-state law changes, drafting policy updates, and implementing across employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions needing experience.
• Reviewing and unblocking the work of Payroll and HR Administration teammates.
• Rearchitecting HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset, beyond using AI tools.
• Growing into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management over time.
