Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME for the Gulf Coast region.

This role provides global scheduling expertise, governance, and execution support across massive turnarounds, partnering with site teams and leadership to ensure readiness and disciplined execution. The role focuses on improving readiness, reducing risk, and driving predictable turnaround outcomes through coaching, performance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of turnaround execution and project controls experience OR 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software, and turnaround work processes.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one; US work eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnarounds ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness, health, and risks across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews before execution.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and training.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Monitor performance during execution and support decisions affecting safety, cost and quality.
• Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement across Dow turnaround processes.
