Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region. The role provides global scheduling expertise, governance, and execution support for high‑value turnaround projects. You will collaborate with site teams, leadership, and functional partners to ensure adherence to standards and FEL readiness.

The position emphasizes improving readiness, reducing risk, and driving predictability across Dow turnarounds, with global scope and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or 10 years in turnaround execution and controls.
• Absolves strong knowledge of Primavera and scheduling processes.
• Experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• TWIC card possession or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness, health, and compliance across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, gate reviews, and challenge sessions.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Lead the global scheduler qualification curriculum and training activities.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Monitor performance and resolve critical issues impacting safety, schedule, cost and quality.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization across Dow processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling.
