Job summary

Dow Inc. in the Gulf Coast region seeks a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME to provide technical scheduling expertise and governance across Dow's turnaround work processes.

You will drive readiness, mentoring, and performance oversight for complex turnarounds and collaborate with global teams to improve predictability and safety. You will lead readiness reviews, work with site teams and leadership, and champion scheduling excellence, including evaluation of new technologies and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or 10 years experience in turnaround execution and project controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience serving as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willing to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline.
• Provide scheduling leadership and support to turnaround teams for major turnarounds ($30MM+).
• Assess turnaround compliance, readiness, and health across FEL and execution.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure deliverables.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Own the global turnaround scheduler qualification curriculum and mentoring.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Support turnaround execution by monitoring performance and resolving issues.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization across processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling capability.

Education

Bachelor's degree +5 years experience
