Job summary

Dow, a global materials science leader, is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region. The role provides global scheduling expertise, governance, and execution support across large-scale turnarounds, partnering with site teams and leadership to drive readiness and predictable outcomes.

The position focuses on improving turnaround readiness, reducing risk, and standardizing practices through coaching, governance, and continuous improvement across the scheduling lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in turnaround/plant projects or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling discipline and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnarounds (>$30MM) to improve readiness and performance.
• Assess readiness, health, and compliance across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, gate reviews, and challenge sessions to ensure milestones.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness gaps and reduce risk.
• Support scheduler development and qualification curriculum; mentor junior schedulers.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Monitor performance and enable decisions to optimize safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
