M&T Bank in Chicago, IL seeks a Relationship Manager for Global Capital Markets (GCM) to manage client relationships and the daily administration of GCM accounts. You will coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and timely close of transactions.

The role involves advising on fee structures, handling billing, and supporting sales opportunities while maintaining strong client service and risk controls.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 years client service experience in Global Capital Markets or markets, or 6 years combined education/work experience with client service in GCM
• High level PC skills and proficiency with pertinent software
• Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting legal documents
• Experience calculating discounts, interest, commissions and percentages
• Familiarity with corporate structures, relevant laws and regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsabilidades

• Monitor administrative systems and ensure accounts operate within policies
• Review and comment on operative documents and agreements
• Coordinate risk monitoring and regulatory compliance with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit
• Resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction with internal/external resources
• Work with external parties to structure and close GCM transactions timely
• Handle fee billing, reporting and tickler processing
• Support sales calls and prepare fee proposals for new opportunities
• Represent GCM at meetings, drive client relationships and opportunities
• Identify opportunities to increase revenues through additional fees within controls
• Provide coverage for other Relationship Managers as needed
• Lead departmental projects and corporate initiatives when assigned
• Assist management with business product development and operations
• May mentor less experienced staff
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues as needed
• Promote M&T Bank brand and maintain internal controls
