Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Global Capital Markets Relationship Manager to oversee client relationships and daily administration of GCM accounts. You will coordinate with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit to ensure compliance, negotiate documents, and structure transactions with external partners.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and experience with financial calculations and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years combined education/experience.
• Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting legal documents.
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software.
• Experience calculating discounts, interests, commissions and percentages.
• Familiarity with corporate structures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor administrative and operational systems for assigned accounts.
• Review and comment on negotiation/operating documents.
• Coordinate risk and regulatory compliance with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit as needed.
• Resolve client service issues with internal and external resources.
• Engage with external parties to structure and close GCM transactions.
• Prepare fee proposals and assist in new business opportunities.
• Maintain client relationships and support activity across the unit.
