Job summary
A leading proprietary trading firm based in Chicago is seeking a Quantitative Trader to provide liquidity across various electronic markets. Key responsibilities include developing market making strategies, managing risk and P&L, and identifying pricing inefficiencies. The ideal candidate will have proven market making experience, a strong P&L track record, and technical skills in Python. This position offers a fast-paced environment with collaborative opportunities with quantitative and technology teams.
Qualifications
- Proven market making experience with a strong P&L track record.
- Deep understanding of market microstructure and electronic trading.
- Experience with systematic strategies and algorithmic execution.
- Technical skills (Python or similar) preferred.
- Commercial mindset in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide two-sided liquidity across relevant products and venues.
- Develop and manage market making strategies.
- Manage risk, inventory, and P&L in real time.
- Identify pricing inefficiencies across markets.
- Collaborate with quant and technology teams.
