Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Team Lead for General Liability Claims to guide high-exposure GL claims across industries. You’ll mentor both the General Team (Unrepresented) and Severity/Litigation Team (Attorney Represented) and shape strategy, reserves, and disposition decisions for complex files.

In a remote-friendly environment, you’ll drive aged-inventory reviews, oversee defense strategy, and coordinate with counsel, analytics, and leadership to deliver timely settlements, denials, or close decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of insurance claims experience in high-exposure commercial general liability across varied industries.
• Active adjuster license required: resident state license if available, otherwise DHS.
• 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in remote environments.
• Experience managing litigation strategy and defense counsel oversight.
• Comfort using technology and analytics to drive disposition-focused processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach adjusters across General and Severity/Litigation Teams.
• Own weekly aged-inventory disposition reviews (past 120/180/365 days).
• Review litigation strategy, defense coordination, and reserve adequacy on high-exposure files.
• Manage routing exceptions outside standard litigation-status routing.
• Align caseload targets with inventory and staffing changes.
• Serve as escalation SME for coverage questions and complex claim strategy.
• Prepare and present claims reports, aged-inventory metrics, and loss trends.
• Increase reserve and settlement authority on high-exposure file reviews.
