Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Team Lead to act as a working leader supporting a Claims manager, overseeing Specialty Claims adjusting staff, and driving performance with analytics and technology. You will guide handling of non-standard claims and mentor the team while balancing management and individual contributor duties as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in insurance claims, with specialty/non-standard claims (deposit replacement, surety, or comparable lines).
• 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably remote.
• Proven ability to interpret non-standard policy language and contractual addenda.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify coverage obligations, and make decisions.
• Willingness to obtain required licenses within 60 days if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Switch between claims handling and coaching adjusters as needed.
• Provide SME guidance on complex claims, coverage interpretation, and policy language.
