Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a senior claims leader to supervise a liability claims team, drive performance, and mentor staff. The role emphasizes adoption of Best Practices, strategic hiring, and operational efficiency across remote or hybrid settings.

The ideal candidate has a strong claims background, leadership experience, and litigation exposure, with a LS diploma and optionally a Bachelor’s degree. Licensure across states is required where claims are handled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience with litigated files.
• Licensed/certified in all states where claims are handled.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a liability claims team handling varied caseloads to deliver high-quality service.
• Guide claims team to adhere to GB’s Best Practices.
• Lead adjuster hiring and training to foster performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals and manage workloads for efficiency.
• Leverage Gallagher's technology to improve team output and quality.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers professionally and proactively.
• Identify coaching opportunities and position team members for development.
