Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior IT/Technology Project Manager with GIS experience to lead a multi-year GIS modernization initiative. The role drives design completion, business case support, and end-to-end delivery, including go-live and closeout.

The candidate will partner with a third-party consulting partner, vendors, and internal teams to achieve measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise project management, GIS project execution, and familiarity

Qualifications

5+ years of IT/Technology Project Management experience.
Demonstrated GIS-related technology project experience.
Proven success delivering complex, large-scale enterprise technology/software projects.
Experience leading projects from initiation and planning through implementation, go-live, and closeout.
Experience managing enterprise software implementations, upgrades, migrations, or conversions.

Responsibilities

Lead a large-scale GIS technology initiative from design through closeout.
Assess project status, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
Develop an integrated implementation roadmap and plan.
Create detailed, resource-loaded schedules with milestones and baselines.
Coordinate work across GIS teams, IT groups, architects, stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
Manage scope, schedule, risk, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
Drive execution and accountability across workstreams.
Communicate progress to leadership and sponsors.
Support business case development including scope, timelines, and costs.
