Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior IT/Technology Project Manager with GIS project experience to lead a large, multi-year GIS modernization initiative. The project is in design, with a partner assessing the GIS environment, architecture, data readiness, and costs.

The PM will own the design closure, support business case development, and drive implementation and go-live. The role requires strong enterprise PM experience, GIS project history, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

5+ years IT/Technology Project Management experience; 10+ years preferred.
GIS-related technology project experience required.
Proven success delivering large-scale enterprise technology/software projects.
Experience with Waterfall SDLC and stage-gate governance.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale GIS technology initiative through design, approval, implementation, go-live, and closeout.
Assess project status, risks, constraints, dependencies, and priorities.
Develop realistic implementation roadmap and integrated project plan.
Manage detailed, resource-loaded schedules using Microsoft Project.
Coordinate across GIS, IT, architects, stakeholders, vendors.
Oversee risk, issue, dependency, resource, and escalation management.
Ensure accountability and measurable commitments across workstreams.
Manage third-party vendors and system integrators for deliverables.
Lead governance within Waterfall SDLC and stage-gate.
