The role is hands-on and focuses on delivering the design close, business case support, and guiding the project through implementation, go-live, and closeout.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of IT/Technology Project Management with GIS project experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology projects.
• Proven ability to lead projects from initiation to closeout and manage vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall SDLC and stage-gate governance.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Project and GIS platforms (ArcGIS).

Aufgaben

• Lead large-scale GIS technology initiative from design through closeout.
• Assess status, risks, constraints, dependencies and priorities.
• Develop realistic implementation roadmap and integrated project plan.
• Maintain detailed, resource-loaded schedules with MS Project.
• Coordinate across GIS, IT, architects, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Lead scope, schedule, risk, issue, dependency and escalation management.
• Ensure accountability and measurable commitments across workstreams.
• Hold vendors and system integrators to deliverables and timelines.
• Govern project governance in a Waterfall SDLC environment.
• Translate GIS/tech information for executive decision-making.
• Provide transparent project reporting to leadership and sponsors.
• Support business case development, scope, timelines and costs.
• Plan migrations, testing, training, and operational readiness.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and cross-team decisions.
