Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior IT/Technology Project Manager with GIS project experience to lead a complex, multi-year GIS modernization initiative. The role requires hands-on leadership, coordinating across GIS teams, IT, vendors, and executives, with a focus on delivering milestones from design to closeout.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of IT/PM experience (10+ preferred), strong GIS project track record, and proficiency in MS Project.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT/Technology Project Management experience, with 10+ years strongly preferred.
Demonstrated GIS-related technology project experience.
Proven success delivering complex, large-scale enterprise technology/software projects.
Experience from initiation to closeout (planning, execution, go-live).
Experience with enterprise software implementations, upgrades, migrations, or conversions.
Strong knowledge of Waterfall SDLC and structured project delivery methodologies.
Experience with stage-gate/project governance processes.
Strong hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

Lead a large-scale GIS technology initiative from design phase to project closeout.
Assess status, risks, dependencies, and priorities; develop an implementation roadmap.
Build and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules with MS Project.
Coordinate across GIS teams, IT groups, architects, stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
Hold vendors and system integrators accountable for deliverables and schedules.
Translate GIS/technical info into clear business decisions for executives.
Provide consistent project reporting to leadership and sponsors.
