Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect for the Games MEGS sector, focusing on video games. You will shape repeatable industry solutions with partners and guide customers in cloud adoption, LiveOps, and game backend architectures.

The role demands deep technical and sales leadership, strong knowledge of game engines (Unreal/Unity), and the ability to engage with executives. Based in Santa Monica, CA, with a global remit and cross‑partner collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems)
• 6+ years IT development/consulting in software/Internet
• 6+ years direct engagement with Games industry customers on cloud/AI adoption and with game engines (Unreal/Unity)

Responsibilities

• Develop top-of-funnel sales opportunities with Games industry customers with partners
• Collaborate with Account SAs, Sales, BD and service teams to accelerate adoption of partner solutions
• Evangelize partners’ value proposition inside AWS and with customers
• Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for industry solutions
• Build executive relationships with partner organizations and become their trusted advisor
• Provide architectural guidance for engagements with partners globally
• Assist solution providers in defining tech strategies to sell more on AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with the Solution Architect community
• Share customer feedback with product/engineering teams for future roadmap
