Affirm is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Acquisition & Onboarding team. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and elevate full stack capabilities across mobile, web, and backend systems.

You will own quarterly goals, collaborate with product and design, and drive reliable operations. Strong emphasis on React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, AWS, and Kubernetes in a remote‑first environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience leading mobile initiatives and cross‑functional launches.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly goals for the team and guide engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to drive delivery.
• Ensure monitoring, on‑call readiness, and reliable operations.
• Identify and lead resolution of process, tech, or business issues.
• Maintain high code quality and contribute to design standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers through example and feedback.
