Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Acquisition & Onboarding team. You will define long-term technical strategy, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions across mobile, web, and backend systems.

You will work with product, design, and analytics to ship high‑quality experiences that improve conversion and retention, while maintaining reliability and scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience leading significant mobile initiatives (React Native or native).
• Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
• Backend design with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and lead through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics across the lifecycle.
• Ensure monitoring, on-call readiness, and reliable availability of systems.
