Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect for a US-based, remote role to design and articulate fintech solutions across mobile money, digital wallets, and payments. You will partner with customers to translate architecture into winning business outcomes and lead technical engagements with executive stakeholders.

The role requires extensive fintech architecture experience, hands-on API and cloud knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture or deeply technical roles within fintech/financial services in the US.
• Led architecture-driven fintech engagements with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on fintech platforms including mobile money, digital payments, wallet infrastructure, API design and management, microservices, cloud-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of payments security, data integration, scalability and resilience.
• Ability to translate deep technical concepts into business value for executives.
• Excellent written, presentation and RFP response skills.
• Willingness to travel within the US as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery through solution design, demos, proposals and executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements and position Ericsson Mobile Financial Services as the right architectural fit.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions spanning mobile money, digital wallets, payments, API ecosystems, and financial inclusion use cases.
• Design integration and systems architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability for US financial services.
• Build compelling solution narratives linking technical capability to measurable business value for engineering and executives.
• Produce technical proposals, solution blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses that differentiate us on technical merit and commercial value.
• Lead clean handovers to delivery with cross-functional teams and ensure what is sold can be built and scaled.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends and regulatory shifts, feeding insights back into solution strategy.
• Create reusable assets such as reference architectures, demo environments, and integration patterns.
