Job summary

You will design scalable architectures across mobile money, digital wallets, and API ecosystems, balancing technical rigor with business value for engineering teams and executives. This is a remote, full-time role with travel in the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services technology organizations in the US.
• A proven track record of technically leading complex, architecture-driven engagements in fintech or payments.
• Strong hands-on understanding of fintech platforms, including mobile money, digital payments, wallet infrastructure, API design and management, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
• Fluency in the technical fundamentals that matter in payments—transaction processing, security and encryption, data integration, scalability, and resilience.
• Ability to move between deep technical work and framing business value for executives.
• Excellent solution design, technical writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset with credibility with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a US-based role while staying connected to a global organization.
• Established network of potential customers and partners in the US fintech market is a strong advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process—from discovery and requirements analysis through solution design and live demonstrations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements, positioning Ericsson Mobile Financial Services as the right fit for fintech environments.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions spanning mobile money, digital wallets, and API ecosystems.
• Design architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability in US financial services.
• Build compelling narratives connecting technical capability to business value for engineering and executives.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses that differentiate on tech merit and commercial value.
• Drive clean handovers to delivery, collaborating with sales, product, and implementation teams.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape; feed insights back to strategy.
• Create reusable technical assets—reference architectures, demos, integration patterns, and best practices.
• Mentor colleagues to grow solution-architecture depth and support partner-led engagements.
