AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud cost optimization. The role requires APAC-hours coverage with overlap to PST and CST, and strong collaboration with R&D groups.

You will monitor spend, run structured investigations, and deliver root-cause analyses and actionable recommendations. Proficiency in Jira/Slack and clear stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Proven ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting and alignment with team projections.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and tracking of investments.
• Proficient in Jira documentation and Slack-based collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Availability to cover APAC hours with PST/CST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Engage APAC-based colleagues to review monthly cloud spend and surface optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies and deliver root-cause analyses and recommendations in Jira.
• Participate in monthly forecast cycles and align central forecasts with team plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting with AI/LLM cost driver insights.
• Audit and update the cost wiki and drive cost-education efforts.
• Model team cost projections and respond to requests via Slack and email.
