You will monitor spend, investigate anomalies, provide root-cause analyses, and contribute to showback reporting. Proficiency with Jira and Slack is essential, as is a strong finance mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience with cloud spend optimization.
• Strong cloud cost management and anomaly investigation skills.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams on cost initiatives.
• Forecasting experience and alignment with team projections.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive engagement with APAC-based teams to review monthly spend and surface opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies; produce root-cause analyses and recommendations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with team cohorts and document plans for spend.
• Contribute to showback reporting and cost-driver documentation.
• Support cost education and maintain wiki space with up-to-date information.
