AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. This role requires APAC-hours availability with PST and CST overlap, and a strong ability to collaborate with R&D to manage forecasts and showback reporting.

You will monitor spend, investigate anomalies, and deliver actionable cost-reduction strategies while maintaining documentation and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Proven ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising and consulting directly with R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting experience with team–level alignment.
• OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and team investment tracking.
• Proficiency with Jira for investigations and Slack for real-time support.
• Maintain documentation/wiki spaces and recurring reporting (Showback).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary FinOps contact for R&D teams, triaging questions via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive cost reviews with APAC-based colleagues and surface opportunities.
• Investigate cloud spend anomalies, document root causes, and propose optimizations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting; align central forecasts with team plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting and exchange cost driver insights with teams.
• Support cost awareness and education, updating related wiki spaces.
• Model team cost projections and assist with customer help requests.
