AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires APAC-hours coverage with overlap with PST and CST and a strong focus on cost forecasting, spend analysis, and stakeholder communication.

You will partner with R&D teams, monitor AI/LLM spend, document findings in Jira, and contribute to monthly forecasts and showback reporting. Flexibility in remote/office work is provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience required.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising and consulting with R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting experience and alignment of forecasts across teams.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and tracking for teams and investments.
• Proficient in documenting investigations in Jira and communicating findings.
• Experience documenting and sharing knowledge in wiki spaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive cost reviews with APAC-based teams and surface optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies and deliver root-cause analyses with actionable recommendations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting, aligning central and team-level projections.
• Contribute to showback reporting with cost drivers and team spend context.
• Support Cost Awareness and update wiki spaces.
• Model team cost projections and respond to inquiries via Slack and email.
