AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud spend and optimization. The role requires APAC-hour coverage with overlaps across PST and CST and will involve direct advisory work with R&D teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in FinOps, strong cost-management skills, and experience forecasting and narrating cost drivers, including OpenAI/LLM spend. Remote options available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization.
• Investigate spend anomalies and produce written root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing advisory with R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting and aligning forecasts with team plans.
• Familiar with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and team investment tracking.
• Document investigations in Jira and support via Slack.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Engage APAC-based colleagues to review monthly cloud spending and surface cost opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies; conduct structured investigations and deliver root-cause analyses.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with assigned R&D teams and capture engagement notes.
• Contribute to showback reporting and cost-driver documentation.
• Support Cost Awareness and Wiki updates; model team cost projections and respond to requests.
