AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires coverage of APAC business hours, with overlap for PST and afternoon CST, and collaboration with R&D teams to manage spend and forecast impacts.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in FinOps, strong cost management skills, and experience with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers. This position offers flexible remote/office options and competitive USD pay.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
• 4+ years of FinOps experience
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization skills
• Ability to investigate spend anomalies and provide root-cause analyses
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams
• Cloud cost forecasting with alignment to team projections
• Familiar with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring LLM spend
• Cost modeling and team investment tracking
• Proficient with Jira for documenting investigations and Slack for real-time support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST/CST overlap

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary FinOps contact for R&D teams, triaging questions via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive cost reviews with APAC-based colleagues and surface cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies and document root-cause analyses with recommendations in Jira.
• Contribute to monthly forecasting cycles and align central forecasts with team plans.
• Support showback reporting and cost-awareness initiatives.
• Maintain wiki documentation and recurring reports related to cost tracking.
