Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant for Financial Services to act as a trusted advisor, architecting cloud solutions for large FS firms. You will own account strategy, scenarios, and technical orchestration, partnering with executives to translate requirements into scalable Appian designs.

You will lead workshops, craft POCs/ POVs, and collaborate with product teams to shape roadmaps while traveling up to 50% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in Pre-Sales or Solutions Consulting, or 10+ years in enterprise services or technical consulting with sales exposure.
• Hands-on programming or fluency in modern languages (Java/JS/Python/C#/C++).
• Strong communication and leadership to present to executives and C-level audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for strategic accounts and complex campaigns, co-selling with Account Executives.
• Lead executive workshops and roadmapping sessions to align objectives with Appian capabilities.
• Architect and deliver high-quality POCs/POVs with clear success criteria and sponsorship.
• Understand banking, CRM, data, workflow, AI, and enterprise systems to integrate Appian in complex environments.
• Direct technical responses to RFIs/RFPs and influence product roadmaps.
