Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive the technology evaluation stage of the enterprise sales process. You will serve as the primary technical advisor and product advocate, architect bespoke POCs, and work with Fortune 500 companies to secure high-value deals.

You’ll collaborate with Account Executives, present to C-level executives, and mentor junior team members while helping shape the enterprise-grade orchestration roadmap. Remote work is available across the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or related enterprise software roles.
• Strong fluency in enterprise architecture, REST APIs, databases, SQL, cloud and integrations.
• Proven ability to demo, prototype, and deliver enterprise-POCs/POVs.
• Willingness to travel 30%–70%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy with Account Executives to achieve regional sales goals.
• Architect and deliver high-quality POCs and POVs for enterprise customers.
• Present complex architectures to a C-level audience.
• Own technical responses for RFPs and client proposals.
• Collaborate with Product Management to convey real-world requirements.
• Mentor junior solutions consultants and share reusable assets.
