Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to own account strategy and technical orchestration for strategic opportunities in the financial services sector. You’ll translate complex requirements into compelling technical solutions, collaborating with executives, partners, sales leadership, and product teams.

You’ll lead workshops, design custom POCs/POVs, and navigate diverse IT landscapes to integrate Appian into enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant, OR 10+ years in client-facing Professional Services or enterprise tech consulting with sales exposure.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with ability to conduct deep discovery, present to executives, and engage C-level audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations in the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Own account strategy and technical orchestration for strategic accounts and complex sales campaigns, co-seller with Account Executives.
• Lead customer roadmap sessions and executive workshops to connect objectives with Appian capabilities.
• Architect high-quality, custom technical POCs and POVs with executive sponsorship and clear success criteria.
• Understand customer IT landscapes (banking systems, CRM, data, AI, and core enterprise tools) to integrate Appian into complex environments.
• Direct the technical response and strategy for RFIs, RFPs, security reviews and architecture discussions.
• Convey real-world customer requirements to Product Management to influence the roadmap.
• Coach peers, lead field enablement sessions, and create reusable assets to scale best practices.
