Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to redefine technical advisory for financial services by architecting mission-critical cloud solutions. This role will own strategic account execution, lead executive workshops, and deliver custom PoCs/POVs with clear success criteria, collaborating with product teams and sales leadership.

You will navigate complex IT landscapes, dissect requirements for RFIs/RFPs, influence roadmaps, and mentor peers while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or related enterprise software pre-sales role; or 10+ years in client-facing professional services or technical consulting with enterprise sales focus.
• Hands-on programming or fluency in modern development environments (Java/JS/Python/C#/C++).
• Strong communication, discovery, executive-level engagement and storytelling with C-level audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations across the region.

Responsibilities

• Own account strategy and technical orchestration for strategic opportunities.
• Lead executive workshops and correlate customer objectives to Appian capabilities.
• Architect and deliver high-quality PoCs and POVs with executive sponsorship and clear success criteria.
• Navigate complex IT landscapes including banking systems, CRM, data, and AI integration.
