Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis across the firm, offices, and practice groups. You will develop models, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to improve insight, drive efficiency, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline.
• Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience leading or supervising analysts or similar staff.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, internal reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with financial systems and analytics platforms, including ERP/GL and time & billing systems; advanced Excel skills; Power BI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the finance team, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and adherence to standard methodologies.
• Develop and maintain financial models, KPI frameworks, and analytics that link financial performance to business drivers.
• Prepare materials and analyses for senior leadership, including dashboards and executive summaries.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, reforecasts, and multi-period outlooks; coordinate data collection and consolidation.
• Drive process improvements and automation to improve accuracy, speed, and stakeholder self-service.
• Provide analytical support for working capital and cash flow, including WIP and accounts receivable analysis.
