Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, oversee daily operations, and deliver timely financial reporting and analytics. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and improving processes to support senior leadership decisions across firm, offices, and practice groups.

The position requires extensive experience in finance, FP&A, and analytics, with strong SQL, ERP/GL, BI tools, and time-billing systems proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline.
Eight years in finance/FP&A or related analytical roles, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
Minimum four years of experience leading or supervising analysts.
Advanced proficiency with ERP/GL and BI tools; experience with time-billing systems.
Strong communication and collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsabilités

Develop and execute financial strategy with models and trend analyses.
Translate priorities into operational plans, dashboards, and analytics.
Prepare materials for senior leadership discussions and summaries.
Manage day-to-day finance team activities and ensure accuracy of data.
Provide coaching and professional development for team members.
Deliver recurring internal reports and ensure data integrity with Accounting/IT.
Develop tools and dashboards to improve visibility of KPIs for leadership.
Lead the budget cycle and reforecasts; coordinate data collection and validation.
Provide variance analyses and actionable recommendations for leadership.
