Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team and deliver timely, high‑quality financial information. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics for firm, offices, and practice groups, shaping strategic decisions with data and insights.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced financial analysis skills, and experience with ERP/GL and BI tools. Hybrid work and a focus on process improvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in finance, FP&A or related analytical roles, preferably in law or professional services.
• Minimum four+ years leading or supervising analysts or similar staff.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, internal reporting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP/GL and time & billing systems; strong Excel; experience with Power BI and Tableau.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Build financial and statistical models, evaluate scenarios and trends linking performance to drivers.
• Translate strategic priorities into operational plans, reporting packages, and analytics.
• Prepare materials for senior leadership discussions, dashboards, trend analyses, and summaries.
• Oversee day‑to‑day finance team activities, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality work.
• Develop tools and dashboards to improve KPI visibility and automate reporting.
• Lead budgeting, reforecasts, and multi‑period outlooks across the firm and offices.
• Analyze profitability, staffing mix, leverage, and costs impacting margins; provide actionable recommendations.
• Support working capital analysis and collections initiatives; partner with teams to improve cash flow.
• Drive finance transformation and automation to improve accuracy, speed, and self‑service.
