Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, drive reporting, budgeting, and analysis across the firm, offices, and practice groups. This role emphasizes process improvement, data integrity, and strategic financial support for senior leadership.

You will develop financial models, manage the annual budget cycle, and deliver timely analytics to enable informed decision-making in a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline.
• Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, preferably within a law firm or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting, and KPI dashboards for the firm, offices, and practice groups.
• Lead the annual budget process and reforecasts with cross-functional collaboration.
• Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and executive summaries for senior leaders.
• Oversee daily finance team operations, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables and adherence to standards.
• Coach and mentor analysts; support professional development and performance.
• Standardize reporting, drive finance transformation, and implement automation to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Accounting, IT, and data teams to ensure data quality and robust finance reporting.
