Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to implement and support Emergency Call Handling solutions for public safety. This remote role requires up to 75% travel within the US and internationally, including on-site configuration, testing, and post-cut support for hybrid cloud and SaaS environments.

You will configure systems, verify cutovers, troubleshoot connectivity, and document changes while staying current with cloud-native safety technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Experience deploying/integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications a plus; familiarity with hybrid cloud.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Perform site verification testing and cutover to production.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provide post-cut support to customers and partners.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Contribute to design of migration methods and upgrade plans.
• Support pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
