Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead on-site configuration, testing, and cutover for on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. This remote-friendly role requires substantial travel across the US and close collaboration with customers and partners.

You will configure, test, and support complex IP products, manage cloud integrations, and document changes while maintaining SME-level knowledge of cloud-native public safety tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology.
• 3+ years of deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, or Private Cloud).
• Experience with Cloud-based application troubleshooting including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to Customer and Channel Partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and API integrations during implementation.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved timely.
• Contributes to Method of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations.
