Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to deliver on-site and cloud-hosted solutions. You will configure, test, and cut deployments, support customers and partners, and document every change.

This role requires up to 75% travel across the US and internationally, deep knowledge of networking, virtualization, and public safety applications. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering/technical environments, US work authorization, and ability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering/technical experience.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% across US/intl.
• Remote-ready with strong self-management.

Responsibilities

• Configure ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Perform site verification testing before production.
• Configure and troubleshoot connectivity between onsite and cloud.
• Provide support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Address installation/quality issues promptly.
• Develop and approve MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety tech.
