Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to implement and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across the US and internationally. The role focuses on system configuration, site testing, and cloud-legacy integrations in a fully remote capacity.

Travel up to 75% and potential involvement in pre-contract presentations. Requires strong networking, virtualization, Windows/Linux, and cloud skills within public safety deployments.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Security clearance eligibility per government contracts (U.S.).
• Experience with cloud-based and on-prem deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting of cloud/identity and network services.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Provide deployment support to customers and partners.
• Document changes (cloud tenants, API integrations) during deployment.
