Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to drive on-site configurations, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. This is a Remote position with opportunities to work across the US.

You will collaborate with the ECH Field Engineer Manager, travel up to 75% domestically and internationally, and stay current with cloud-native public safety tech while maintaining security clearances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and telephony concepts.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• conducts site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution including API integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Supports cloud migrations and system upgrades through SOPs.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
