Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead on-site and cloud-hosted deployments across the US. You will design, configure, test, and support ECH solutions, coordinating with customers and partners to ensure successful production rollouts.

The role requires deep cloud, virtualization, and IP networking expertise, along with telephony knowledge. Traveling up to 75%+ nationwide and internationally, you will work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS or Microsoft certs preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud-based apps, including connectivity, latency, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with virtualization and server OS administration.
• Experience with SQL Server and Windows/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of network switches and basic firewall concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configures and tests ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing before production cut.
• Configures connectivity between on-site and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contributes to methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintains skills in cloud-native public safety technologies.
