Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to configure and deploy complex public safety solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will verify sites, troubleshoot connectivity, and support customers and partners during production cuts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering, strong cloud and SIP skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time. This is a remote US-based role with extensive field activity and collaboration with the ECH team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering or technical environments.
• Experience deploying IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications or knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIP interfaces and call flows.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Proficient in Windows/Linux server administration.

Responsibilities

• Configure ECH solutions on-prem and cloud.
• Perform site verification testing before production cut.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provide customer and partner support during deployment.
• Document changes, including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Assist with cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
