Job summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead deployment and integration of ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will verify site readiness, configure systems, and support customers and partners throughout production rollout.
The role demands deep knowledge of IP networks, virtualization, cloud services, and public safety applications, with extensive travel (up to 75%).
Qualifications
- 3+ years in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA) referenced in job listing.
- Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting (connectivity, latency, and SSO/AD).
Responsibilities
- Configure and test ECH solutions on-premise and cloud environments.
- Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
- Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Provide support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
- Document all changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during implementation.
- Resolve installation/quality issues promptly.
- Contribute to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
- Assist in pre-contract presentations and negotiations as required.
- Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
