Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering with 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Go, Java, Python, or comparable language, with production services experience.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Linux, distributed systems, observability, and SRE practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve highly complex production issues beyond Tier 1/Tier 2.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, containerized applications.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain AWS and Kubernetes-based microservices for Webex Gov.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and restore service in a 24x7 production environment.
• Automate operational tasks and service provisioning to improve safety, efficiency, and consistency.
• Support security/compliance through IAM, logging, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and FedRAMP monitoring.
• Collaborate with teams to identify operational risks, build runbooks and incident reports.
