Job summary

Cisco is seeking engineers to deploy, operate, and maintain resilient AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure supporting the Webex for Government environment. You will monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and automate provisioning in a 24x7 production setting.

Key tasks include improving reliability, security hardening, and collaborating with security and compliance teams to document runbooks and incident reports for audit-ready evidence.

Qualifications

4+ years of coding in Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with Unix/Linux systems and kernel concepts.
Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
Experience building containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Deploy, operate, and maintain resilient AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure and microservices.
Monitor service health and troubleshoot complex incidents in a 24x7 environment.
Automate repeatable operational work and infrastructure provisioning.
Strengthen platform security and compliance through IAM, logging, and vulnerability remediation.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance to reduce operational risk.
