Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a FedRAMP Site Reliability Engineer to lead operations in the US GovCloud region. You will design and maintain cloud-native AWS services with a strong emphasis on compliance, security controls, and automated auditing.

The role requires collaboration with development and security teams to ensure high availability and secure, scalable performance across regions. The position follows a hybrid model with in-office work in SF, Seattle, Austin, or New York.

Qualifications

• Experience writing high-quality code in Python, Go, or equivalent languages.
• Experience building or operating infrastructure in highly regulated environments with security/compliance controls.
• Knowledge of cloud providers, ideally AWS, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and architecture of FedRAMP mission-critical region.
• Design and manage resilient cloud-native AWS services with an everything-as-code approach.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to optimize multi-region infrastructure and maintain compliance.
