Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise software deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This fully remote role carries end-to-end governance, P&L accountability, and cross-functional leadership, with up to 50% travel to customer sites across North America.

Preference for candidates based in Eastern/Central regions. You will work with stakeholders, lead proposal development efforts, and oversee budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• Strong preference for federal government software contracts; equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in Public Safety, Telecommunications, SaaS, or regulated industries considered.
• PMP in process or completed preferred; Advanced program management or Agile certifications (e.g., PgMP, SAFe SPC/Release Train Engineer, CSM) are a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in enterprise PM platforms (Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Asana) for large-scale telemetry and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale, enterprise software deployments and complex technology initiatives for federal government and public safety clients.
• Hold end-to-end accountability for program governance, financial performance (P&L), and client satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams and act as trusted advisor to government stakeholders.
• Shape competitive proposals and deliver mission-critical software solutions.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, margin, and cash; manage change orders and contracts.
