Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This fully remote role carries end-to-end governance, financial performance, and cross-functional leadership responsibilities.

The position supports travel up to 50% to customer sites across North America, with a preference for Eastern/Central locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• Experience leading federal government software contracts is strongly preferred; however, candidates with equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in Public Safety, Telecommunications, SaaS, or comparable highly regulated industries will be strongly considered.
• PMP in process or completed strongly preferred. Advanced program management or Agile certifications (e.g., PgMP, SAFe SPC/Release Train Engineer, CSM) are a plus.
• Federal Acumen: Working knowledge of federal business, federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.
• Competitive & Proposal Expertise: Demonstrated success contributing to proposal development, effort estimation, and win strategies for large federal procurements.
• Technical & PM Tooling: Proficiency in enterprise PM platforms (Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Asana) for large-scale telemetry and portfolio reporting.
